My name is Mussarut Jabeen, I currently reside in Cary, North Carolina with my husband, son, daughter, and last but not least, our pet hamster!

My greatest source of inspiration are my parents, and my former teachers. I have worked at Al-Iman School since 2001. I have taught 5th through 8th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies for five years. It has been an honor for me to serve Al-Iman School parents, students, staff and faculty as a principal for the past four years.

My passion is to work with children as an educator, and to make a difference in my students’ lives. My goal is to nurture these young minds, instill islamic values in my students, help them become productive citizens, and an integral part of the society.

My interests are reading biographies, writing poetry, traveling, and enjoying nature. One of my greatest aspirations is to dedicate my life to promote the importance of educating young children, men and women alike, regardless of their background. I truly believe it’s only through education that we can make this world a better place to live.
