I hope all of you are safe and sound after the weekend’s storm. There will be no school due to the aftermath of the storm. Use your day off to catch up on your reading logs! Inshallah I’ll see everyone back in school Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be Day 3.
All students should have a new book to read for the month of October. Weekly reading logs should be filled in with one focus question answered. Logs are due on a weekly basis.
Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 will be an early release. All students should be picked up by 11:45.
All Parents are encouraged to attend the Open House this Saturday from 9-1030.
Teachers will discuss students overall progress, diagnostic testing and middle school policy and procedures. Drop in anytime and meet with your child’s teacher. Conferences will be on a first come, first serve basis.
NOTE-8th graders will have a special session with Sr. Andrea from 9-945. Come to learn more information about high school options for your child. Afterwards, parents are welcome to meet with their child’s teachers to discuss their overall progress thus far.
This Friday students will bring home their interim reports. The interim report envelope will also have students MAP test results. Please review these items and contact your child’s teacher if you have questions. Also sign and return envelopes to your child’s homeroom teacher.

School will be closed Monday-Wednesday.
When students return on Thursday, they will be able to ‘Dress Up’ in their Eid clothes. Middle school students will also have a potluck lunch on Thursday. Please send in a dish with your child!
We have had a great 2 weeks of school and now its time for a break!
Insha’Allah there will be no school Monday, September 5th. I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and gets to enjoy the extra day off with family and friends!

We hope all students had a great week back. We had a wonderful time catching up and learning about how everyone’s summer went.
This week we will begin MAP testing. We encourage students to try their best while taking MAP tests.
