My name is Mayssaa Nori, I graduated with Arabic Language & Literature degree from Tishreen university in Syria. I taught Islamic Studies for 7th and 8th grade in Syrian Public School. In addition, I taught Islamic studies, Arabic, Social Studies, and Geography for 3rd grade in Alsham Oasis Private School. This is my 10th year at Al-Iman School and I consider myself very fortunate to be among such professional faculty. I realize that teaching is a privilege, as well as a big responsibility.
My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks.
I will do my best this year to ensure that each student has a motivating and safe learning experience in the classroom. However, I cannot do this alone: I need your help. I need us to be partners in the learning process. I need each of you to encourage your child at home by helping to ensure that they have completed their assignments and subjects that are covered in class .
We have an exciting year ahead of us, and I look forward to sharing your child’s experience at school with you.
