About Me!

Salam! I am Filiz, a wife and mother of three lovely children from Istanbul, Turkiye. I hold a degree in Math from NC State University and a diploma in Computer Programming from Sakarya University. This is my first year at Al-Iman School. I have 6 years of experience teaching computer science in high school and middle school, as well as 5 years of tutoring math to high school and middle school students.

I love traveling, discovering new places and cultures, and volunteering in my community. Baking and cooking for my family and friends are some of my favorite activities.

I am passionate about teaching and enjoy incorporating new technologies and methods to find the best ways to help my students succeed.
